Unanimous Win for Corben in the Youth Championships Yorkshire Semi-Final

First Championships outing of 2024 today with Corben Beecher Boxing in the Open Youths 54kg Yorkshire Semi Final at St Paul’s in Hull.

It was Corben’s first bout at his new weight and despite having his preparation impacted by a bad bout of flu he didn’t disappoint in todays performance and a well deserved a unanimous win.

A great fight for the spectators with both lads really going for it throughout, and great for Team Stevie Smith getting another win for the gym.

Corben boxes again next week in the Yorkshire finals.

Hull Box Cup 2024

The Hull Box Cup is the biggest Olympic Style Boxing Tournament in England for Minors, Schools, Junior, Youth & Senior Boxers.

Hull Box Cup 2024 will take place Friday 28th June to and including Sunday 30th June 2024 at University of Hull Sports and Fitness Centre, Cottingham Road, Hull HU6 7TS.

The open class competition is open to Boxers Minors through to Seniors from any Club that is a federation member of a Country that is a member of AIBA.

Registrations for Hull Box Cup 2024 will open early 2024 (Date TBC)
